“All I keep saying to myself is “Wow…WOW.” I heard about schools of hammerheads but didn’t believe. Oh yeah…I am a believer now! 70 plus hammerheads in schools magically, gracefully drifting by…magical. Favorite site- Dirty Rock and Manualita Outside/Channel. Schools of hammerheads, Whale Shark, Mantas, Schools of Black Eyed Jacks… And the list goes on and on. Oh…and a Tiger Shark as big as a 20 foot submarine. Yep….worth every penny.”

This trip was phenomenal! We had several whale shark sightings throughout the week, as well as run-ins with dolphins, manta rays, eagle rays and enormous schools of jacks.
We saw incredible action at Dirty Rock, with countless hammerheads streaming into the cleaning station and also aggregating in enormous schools out in the blue! To top it off, we had a whale shark swim right in front of us at the cleaning station.
Manuelita Outside was also very active, and there we enjoyed encounters with hammerheads, galapagos sharks and giant Pacific mantas.. We had a great dive at Alcyone, but only went once due to large swells on the way out there.
On one dive we discovered a school of tuna with a blacktip shark inside making “tuna fish salad,” according to one of our divers named Randall. “It was “wild!”
On afternoon dives we saw smaller creatures like frogfish, mantis shrimp and reef fish. We were so happy with such an amazing trip full of Cocos magic!

The immaculate dive…. Whale shark, Schooling hammerheads, devil ray for 10 minutes, and then dolphins on safety stop. It doesn’t get better than that!

Fantastic! Everything we wanted to see, schooling hammer head sharks, two whale sharks, tiger shark (as large as the whale shark), absolutly amazing, !

I loved the dives at dirty rock and the channel. Looking for tiger sharks was a highlight. Diving was very safe and well led.
