Our first day of diving at Cocos Island we had to cancel the third dive due to an unprecedented tsunami warning! Luckily everything was ok, and we resumed diving as normal the following day. That certainly added to the adventure of being 312 miles offshore in such a remote destination.
On Day 2 we started off at Dirty Rock, with very manageable current and fantastic viz. We saw lots of hammerheads streaming in to use the cleaning station, and there were also schooling hammerheads out in the blue. Alcyone was one of the favorite dive sites this week, and there we saw strong currents but good visibility. On one dive there we saw 8 Galapagos sharks and plenty of hammerheads!
Manuelita Channel gave us sightings of Galapagos, hammerheads and jacks. The Coral Garden showed us hammerheads and also beautiful macro life like frogfish. And at Manuelita Outside we saw three tiger sharks on a single dive. At Punta Maria we saw a good bit of life at the pinnacle, including a majestic silvertip shark. Everyone loved the swim through at Submerged Rock, which was full of blue-and-gold snappers plus Galapagos sharks and eagle rays.
I have dived since 1982, and this was undoubtedly one of the best diving experiences of this time. Fantastic trip, one I would love to do again.

Dirty Rock, Manuelita Outside and Alyceone were the best dive sites. I saw schooling hammerheads, galapagus sharks, silky sharks, tiger sharks and white tip reef sharks. The marble rays and eagle rays were equally fabulous. Loved it! The crew were excellent, in particular Pedro in the dining room, Roy for his positive vibrations and good fun, Sergio for his dive guiding and sound knowledge/expertise. Facilities are great on the boat and there was a fair variety of food. The pangas make diving at the different sites more accessible. Overall, a fantastic experience. Thank you
My favorite dive was in Alcyone, Me encanto ver el tiburon tigre y bucear con los delfines, la riqueza marina es increible . Dive Master muy experimentados que brindan mucha seguridad y tranquilidad, excelente atencion de la tripulacion, deliciosa y variada comida, recomendacion para la oficina deben brindar mas atencion en dar todas las recomendaciones del viaje con la debida anterioridad. Mil y mil gracias, muy buena atencion gracias por brindarnos toda la seguridad y tranquilidad ; me ayudo a ser mejor ser humano , estuve muy Feliz. Recomiendo hacer otras actividades de integracion entre los viajeros
Saw my first Tiger Shark which was really amazing. All were as expected as this was a return trip and i was not disappointed
